Acts 13:44-46

⁴⁴ And the next Sabbath, almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.

⁴⁵ But when the Jews saw the people, they were full of envy. And contradicting and blaspheming, they spoke against those things which were spoken by Paul.

⁴⁶ Then Paul and Barnabas spoke boldly, and said, “It was necessary that the word of God should have been spoken first to you. But seeing you reject it - and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life - lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
